Welcome to Browns Bar-B-Que, where the smoke runs deep and the flavor tells a story. Based in the heart of Austin, Texas, we’ve been serving up authentic, slow-smoked barbecue since 2011 — built on family values, time-honored techniques, and a whole lot of Texas pride.

Our journey began with a simple backyard pit, a love for bold, honest flavor, and a family tradition that goes back generations. Weekend cookouts with family and friends turned into pop ups for ACL weekend on Barton springs and eventually a business built from scratch.

At Browns, we believe barbecue isn’t just food — it’s heritage. That’s why we stick to the classics: post oak-smoked meats, handmade sides, and all the traditional fixin’s you’d expect from a true Texas joint. Every cut of meat is slow-smoked with patience and purpose.

From cutting and splitting our own wood to the 21 hour smoke on the briskets, everything is done with love and dedication.
